WideSphere Films is writer/director/producer Wendy Jo Cohen‘s production entity. It was originally formed to produce her feature, The Battle of Pussy Willow Creek, which was described by the New York Times as having “so many ideas and so much imaginative play that the movie can barely contain them”, and which Filmmaker Magazine called “A heady brew of history, sexuality, and satire…”
Before making Pussy Willow Creek, Ms. Cohen wrote, directed, and produced several short narrative films and a music video, and (as part of The Silver Owl Group) produced 11 primetime documentaries for the Discovery and History Channels. She has also worked as a First Assistant Director on a variety of independent features and other productions.
As WideSphere Films, Wendy Jo Cohen continues to develop her own projects (including a premium audio drama) while providing editing and production services for clients such as HarperCollins Publishers, Walt Disney World Resorts, Human Relations Media, and Xpodigital.
